[DXLog.net - Support] DXLOG stops talking to radio OM2500 and FTDX-5000?

I have a unique setup and wanted to see if anyone else has the same configuration and seeing what I am seeing.
I am seeing with DXlog on two different stations the same issue.  I have the FTDX5000 with a OM2500 on each station.   With Win-Test I do not see any problems.
What I am seeing is with the same RS232 serial port setup, the DXlog software will track and communicate with the radio no problem when I first start the software or when I check any serial port setting.  After a minute or so, DXlog stops talking to the radio.  The configuration is that the OM2500 connects to the radio and the computer connects to the amps rs232 port.  I have tried RTS/DTR settings and changed baud settings, but it still works ok for a period of time then just stops talking to the radio.  When I connect the computer directly to the radio, all works fine.   I would then think there might be a problem with the OM2500, but when I use WIN-TEST (and even HRD) I have no issues, but with DXlog I do.
Any thoughts?   Does Win-Test handle the serial port settings different then DXLog?  Thanks...
