This is a perfect job for scripting. Sending a command to the K3 is pretty simple (Chris is working on the response details).


I don’t have a DVK in my K3, but the commands are straightforward: 


Memory 1:  SWT21;


So in a script, something like:  radioObject_1.SendCustomCommand(“swt21;”);   will trigger memory 1.  


Stopping the message will require a separate script to emulate a <REC> button press. So 5 scripts total.


Could simplify this if you could pass in a memory number when you call the script but I don’t think this is possible (Chris?).


James: I can put this together but you’ll have to test it since I can’t (no hardware).

Nope.

When macro processor finds $F1 in message content, it will play message 1.
Same with $F3 for message 3.
