[DXLog.net - Support] IC7700 ?

Hi

 

Does anyone use IC7700 in dxlog?

 

 

LN2HQ tries to setup as WT

 

For IC-7700, in radio menu: "Others"

 

    - CI-V Baud Rate 19200 (do not use "Auto")

    - CI-V Address 74h

    - CI-V Transceive ON

    - RS-232C function CI-V

 

In Win-Test SETUP menu:

 

    - Radio type IC-7700

    - "Use CI-V Transceive" should be checked.

    - "Don't poll" should also be checked

    - Next to Radio 1 COM port, click Configure button

    - Click "IC-7700 Default Settings Button" (19200, N, 8, 1, DTR Always

    Off, RTS Always OFF)

 

If still no luck, it's probably caused by bad USB-to-Serial adapter
(Prolific?), instead of good USB-to-Serial adapter (FTDI).

 

Start, Run, devmgmt.msc (Windows Device Manager), expand *Ports*, verify COM
port numbers match what you are using in Win-Test.

.

Right click on COM port, select, Properties, Driver. If it says "Prolific",
it may not work.
