Sure its a matter of preference, an option to have or would be good .. right click on log then set option, only for s&p mode.

This has pros and cons. There is a huge risk that if you forget to 
press return after completing a QSO you lose everything. Having tried 
this feature in N1MM I always leave it turned off.
