Contest config file
All specific contest definition parameters are specified in plain text configuration files included with application.
Original version of config file is always included in Contest sub-directory where DXLog.net application is installed.
During application start, config files are copied from Contest sub-directory to Application data directory, if original version is newer.
Contest config file contains all information needed for DXLog.net application to calculate QSO points, multipliers and all other data needed for normal contest operation.
Custom multiplier list is also included in the file, if such data is needed.
Contest points calculation is based on regex (regular expressions) values, based on source, destination or config data.
It is also possible to specify some exceptions of the rules, when it is needed, for example different multipliers calculation depends from which DXCC you operate the contest.
Creating / editing config files can be done with simple text editor, such as Notepad or similar.
