Hi Chris,
just a little bug report with CW message stacking:
I used the latest build of DXlog in the DARC Xmas contest, which is a sprint
type of contest.
I use it with a USB connected Winkeyer interface for keying the radio.
In this sprint after each S&P QSO you get the frequency and call immediately
CQ on the same frequency.
This means it can occur very often that you just press "Plus" (finalize S&P
QSO) and start next CQ with F1....
In this scenario it happened to me a few times to me that the contact was
not yet properly logged, but CQ macro was already playing.
(actually I noticed this behavior in an earlier contest also, but didn't
bother to report here)
Now, today I did some off-air investigation of the issue and I found the
following behavior:
When F-Keys are used to play macro, all is fine and all message stacking
works OK as it should be.
When either INSERT or PLUS macro messages are being played they will be
immediately interrupted whenever you press a F-Key, while playing.
(like e.g. in the above scenario)
So it seems that message stacking does not work correctly when a macro is
executed either via INSERT or PLUS keys.
(a subsequent F-Key press will immediately stop the macro and play the new
one)
I tested the same in Wintest and there the INSERT and PLUS macros stacking
works correctly.
Maybe you can have a look at this - it should be hopefully reproducible also
on your end.
