Hi Peter.

Yep, you've got it right.

Basically, there are two types of this parameters.

More general setup (for example network parameters, or interface details)
are saved in DXLog.net.config file.
This config file is stored in special folder called Application data
(%APPDATA%) in subfolder called DXLog.net...
You can copy it on another PC and setup will be same as on the source PC.

Contest specific setup is saved into DXN file (for example window colors,
font size, window state and position etc).
This is also saved in default.dxn file (which is located in same directory
as DXLog.net.config), and when creating new contest,
defaults for windows are readed from this default.dxn file....
