After using your program DXLOG forwarded me this email a possible problem
with the program, telling me to report to the software programmers DXLOG.

I hope the problem is fixed.

Thanks ... EA9CD 73

Jose,

I am the log checker for the ARRL 10M Contest, and I wanted to tell you
about a major problem with the EA9CD log that you submitted. It appears to
be a problem with the DXLog.net v2.0.11 logging software that you used.

Here are the first five QSOs from your EA9CD.LOG file:

QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-14 0759 EA9CD 59 1000 S547NAW 59 010
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-14 0800 EA9CD 59 2000 OK2BYW 59 005
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-14 0800 EA9CD 59 3000 SP1FPG 59 024
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-14 0803 EA9CD 59 4000 HC9PD 59 008
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-14 0803 EA9CD 59 5000 IW8RRH 59 003
                                                ^^^^
Please notice the sent QSO numbers (marked with ^^^^). For your first five
QSOs, these should be 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005, not 1000, 2000, 3000,
4000, 5000!!

All of the sent QSO numbers in your log have extra zeros at the end,
instead of the beginning. Here are the last five QSOs from your log:

QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-15 1644 EA9CD 59 7540 I3GBN 59 005
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-15 1645 EA9CD 59 7550 KC4TVZ 59 GA
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-15 1646 EA9CD 59 7560 XE2K 59 BAC
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-15 1959 EA9CD 59 7570 CE1DY 59 590
QSO: 28000 PH 2013-12-15 2002 EA9CD 59 7580 PY8WW 59 575
                                                ^^^^
Again, the sent QSO numbers are 7540, 7550, 7560, 7570, 7580 instead of
0754, 0755, 0756, 0757, 0758or even 754, 755, 756, 757, 758.

I have corrected your log with a text editor so your entry is OK for the
2013 ARRL 10M contest and nothing needs to be done by you. But I wanted to
inform you of the problem in the event that you use this software again.
You should inform the software author about this problem.

Dave Pruett, K8CC
